PCA recognizes cement terminals’ safety records

PCA recognized four cement terminals that had the best safety records in North America during PCA’s Spring Meeting in Chicago last week. For U.S. operations, three categories of terminals, based on employee work hours, were considered for this prestigious award.

The terminals honored were:

  • Titan America LLC/Roanoke Cement Company, Castle Hayne, N.C.—Less than 5,000 employee hours
  • St. Marys Cement Inc. (U.S.)/VCNA, Cleveland—5,000 to 9,000 employee hours
  • St. Marys Cement Inc. (U.S.)/VCNA, Milwaukee—More than 9,000 employee hours

In a separate category for Canadian terminals, Lafarge Canada Inc. in Whitefish River, Ontario, was honored.
